Reading Day at UNC

Today is a lovely reading day at UNC.
Last night I went to the Davis Flash rave. Basically a bunch of exam stressed students all to into the library and play music and crowd surf. So many people that I just felt rather squished, fun though.

Before the rave, I prepared dinner for my friends Swati and Tannyce. Well, that's not exactly accurate, Swati and I prepared dinner for Tannyce, who had three exams that day and was tired and stressed... So we loaded her up with comfort food: instant mashed taters, Annie's Mac and Cheese, and a pasta dish that I'll selfishly admit that I made for myself, but with plenty to spare. :) I filled my plastic take out box at the dining hall with bow tie pasta, fresh spinach, cherry tomatoes, and raw mushrooms. I sauteed them all up in my big purple pan with plenty of garlic and some olive oil, then threw in some dried thyme and of course the pasta. Though I have to admit I prefer the food we cook at Home, it was comfort food enough for me and fuel for dancing in Davis Library...
