This is Jake my first rooster! I picked him out of a box of chickens at the feed store three years ago. He's been great ~ calm and friendly ~ and always looking after his girls! He's not quite ready for Christmas though as he is still eating pumpkins from fall. This one turned into a great water bowl after all the rain we had. Right now I'm looking forward to my piles of garden catalogs and planning the perfect garden in January ~ it's always so perfect then, there are never insects, weeds or disease!
Today I'll be doing some weaving and spinning as I prepare to make some holiday gifts.
